1 month til Christmas AND $1 Cheezels at Coles… CAN YOU BELIEVE THAT?!?!?!?!?!?!?!?!?!?!? Probably not. This is the kind of news that you Sydney people need to hear, I mean you live in Sydney, things don’t get much bleaker than that! I am drinking chocolate milk and listening to Pinkerton, just thought that you should know that in your brain.

Movember sleeps for no man! Especially when that man has an uncontrollable bodily function getting busy on his face!! So I present a Mo that has been waiting for its photo to be taken for the last few days!

I was sans photo yesterday so I didn’t post any mo-ments.  Also, I slept through my alarm again, which didn’t provide for the best day. On a similar note, I slept through my alarm again this morning. I have begun considering that I should pay for a subscription wake-up service. I would be willing to pay someone sexy (or atleast vocally sexy) $5 a week to call me at 7:30 am and say something like ,”wake up  you handsome man…you are the reason I live…” or something as equally convincing. As Mr. Grohl is a fine perveyor of facial hair, I felt as though it was my duty as a human being to let it be known that I don’t think that their greatest hits are indeed their greatest hits. I’m guessing that the tracklisting are their most popular singles? I really don’t know but here is their list, and my suggested list…

It’s obviously not the order I would have it in, but as you genius’ can see I did it to show the contrast. The start of the album is good, I can’t really fault it, I tossed up putting in In Your Honor there, as it’s a great opening track and when I saw them that one time, it totally melted my face.  But in saying that, ALL of the Foo Fighter’s track openers are amazing- Stacked Actors, Doll, This is A Call etc.  I worked in a bar for a while and quite frankly, if I hear someone cover Best Of You again, I will probably go into anaphylactic shock and that’s not something I want to do…again. I like DOA better, so there, got a problem? Maybe someone is getting the best the best of you! That’s right.

Everlong is the greatest song ever written, so it’s a given. Anyone who disagrees shouldn’t be allowed out of their house, they should just stay inside and listen to Black Eyed Peas whilst thinking about cheese. The next song I struggled putting on was My Hero…I mean sure it’s a recognised song, but one of their best?! Maybe I have heard it too many times or seen too many pathetic montages about people overcoming adversity or a  life-threatening illness .Yikes.  Quite Frankly Times Like These can suck it, and The One can dance on its shallow grave! Monkeywrench and Big Me are full of win, esp the Big Me film clip! Generator is better than most songs just because Dave uses that Talk Box, and well Long Road to Ruin is obviously what is happening in your life if you actually like that song.

Hey, Johnny Park! is a classic and I dare you to try and tell me that you don’t get up and shake your money maker when you hear that opening riff! Low is a neglected hit off One by One, that NEEDED the attention it deserves, much like your mum. Quite frankly Skin and Bones itsn’t worth the time that it took me to type it out, move my mouse and highlight it pink, or maybe it was? February Stars is epic and the perfect song to be making some sweet lovings to, believe.  For All the Cows was a tough call, it was going to be I’ll Stick Around but that doesn’t have Cows in the title so it lost. Home is my choice to end off the greatest greatest hits albums of all time because I think it’s totally fitting. Don’t agree? Then obviously you haven’t heard it. Enough Said.

Also it is Movember day 4! Gee I didn’t expect that rant to be so long. If you disagree, let me know,  maybe I’ll make a revised list? Also Foo Fighters Greatest Hits:Reissue party at my place tihs weekend!

So there are three days to go until Mighty Movember! The  site is coming together so hopefully it’s on its way to becoming the best Movember blog ever!I can’t remember how many times people asked me about whether I knew of any Movember related blogs last year. I would always be forced to reply with…I don’t know of any blogs and couldn’t even begin to imagine which one would be the best Movember blog ever. I guess you could say that by making this blog I have made this world a better place. I guess that’s why my site has a comment section…
